Each year, Jordan Brand releases a pair of the Air Jordan 11 for the Holiday season, and 2025 won’t be any different. What many fans of the brand have waited and asked to return for years is the “Gamma” Air Jordan 11, and we can confirm the shoes will return to retailers during the Holiday 2025 season.
Although the “Gamma Blue” Jordan 11 isn’t an original colorway, it’s popular. The shoes were first launched in 2013 and will return twelve years later. This marks one of two pairs that will be released in men’s sizes for the Holiday season. Also arriving is the “Rare Air” Air Jordan 11.
Initially, Jordan Brand has planned to launch a new colorway of the silhouette that would feature a Black, Grey, and Red theme. However, the pair has been scrapped, and the “Gamma Blue” will debut instead.
This Air Jordan 11 is dressed in a Black, Gamma Blue, Black, and Varsity Maize color scheme. As for the blocking, the 2025 iteration will mimic the previous release. It features Black mesh on the upper, patent leather across the mudguard and leather on the ankle. Allowing to stand out, Gamma Blue appears on the Jumpman logo on the ankle, while Varsity Maize appears on the tongue branding and 23 on the heels. Other details include a Black midsole and translucent outsole with Gamma on the pods.
What will be different on the 2025 release is the height of the patent leather. It will come higher than the original release, which resembles the OG mold. The overall shape will be improved, and the patent leather will have peaks.
